Defense Attorney of Professional Athletes is Former Yankee’s Son

What do Steelers Jerome Bettis, Le’Veon Bell, and Joey Porter all have in common? Their defense attorney is Robert G. Del Greco, Jr.

Mr. Del Greco, a shareholder with the law firm Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., is the son of Robert Del Greco Sr., outfielder for the 1952 and 1956 Pittsburgh Pirates and center field backup to Mickey Mantle for the 1957 and 1958 New York Yankees.

Del Greco Jr., an accomplished athlete himself, has enjoyed a thirty-year career representing distinguished clientele and high profile cases, including professional athletes. He has combined his intrinsic knowledge and respect of sports with his skill as a defense attorney into becoming the sought-after defense lawyer for athletes who find themselves in trouble in Pittsburgh.

This explains why when Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis needed help with charges resulting from an altercation in Pittsburgh in February 2017, he retained Del Greco Jr.

More can be read about Mr. Del Greco’s representation of Darrelle Revis in the following publications:
