Dickie McCamey Expands Into South Carolina
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (“DMC”), a Pittsburgh-based law firm, is pleased to announce the expansion of its footprint into South Carolina with the addition of Kenya C. Miller, Esq. and Stephanie N. Lawrence, Esq. Ms. Miller and Ms. Lawrence formerly of Miller Lawrence, LLC, have joined Dickie McCamey as Of Counsel and are heading the new office in Lancaster.
DMC has been in Charlotte, North Carolina, for ten years and expanded into Raleigh two years ago. Jeff Wiley, DMC Managing Director, says, “We’re excited to continue our expansion in the southeast by adding our 12th office, which is our second new office in the past four months. Our footprint now extends through seven states.”
According to Lancaster’s Location Chair, Kenya C. Miller, Esq., “Stephanie and I are very excited about this merger, primarily because it will allow us to continue providing the personal services of a boutique firm but with the support of a regional entity so that we may better service the increasing needs of the business community in South Carolina.”
Ms. Miller and Ms. Lawrence are experienced attorneys in the areas of workers’ compensation, administrative law, and litigation. The Lancaster office is located at 103-A S. Kenya C. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, magna cum laude, with honors from the South Carolina Honors College – Phi Beta Kappa. She received her Juris Doctor at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List. She was also a member of the Julius L. Chambers Civil Rights Moot Court and Symposium Editor for First Amendment Law Review.
Stephanie N. Lawrence earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University. She earned a Master’s Degree and Educational Specialist Degree in Counselor Education at the University of South Carolina. She also received her Juris Doctor at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was ranked number one among the Order of Barristers and Captain of the National Moot Court Team.
