Dickie McCamey’s Donation to Catholic Charities

On Friday, December 14, 2012, Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote shareholder, John E. Wall, presented Dr. Edward Kelly, Catholic Charities Free Health Care Clinic Medical Director, with a charitable donation on behalf of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute (“PDI”).

The PDI named Mr. Wall its 2012 Distinguished Defense Counsel Lifetime Achievement Awardee, which along with the honor, bestows a $1,000 PDI donation to the award recipient’s chosen charity.

PDI Executive Director, David Cole, along with Mr. Wall’s fellow DMC attorneys, were in attendance for the ceremony, which took place at Dickie McCamey’s headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh.

Mr. Wall presented Dr. Kelly with the check while thanking him for his “very admirable mission in bringing healthcare to those in need,” and recognized the PDI for giving him the opportunity to help the Catholic Charities’ Free Health Care Clinic.  Mr. Wall then addressed his colleagues, “I have been very fortunate to begin my career, and have spent my entire career, here at Dickie McCamey.  The teachings, experience and relationships have been invaluable, and this is why this award was given to my firm, not me.”
