New Associates Welcomed in Pittsburgh

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC), a Pittsburgh-based law firm, is pleased to welcome Benjamin F. Colburn and Katelin J. Montgomery as associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Colburn is a member of the Product Liability Group. Ms. Montgomery is a member of the Medical Malpractice Defense Group and focuses her practice in health care law.

Mr. Colburn works closely with shareholder and senior member of the Product Liability Group, Anthony J. Rash. “We are pleased to welcome Ben as a full-time associate of the firm. During his time as a summer associate last year, he demonstrated dedication to providing quality legal counsel to our clients,” said Mr. Rash.  “We look forward to Ben being part of our firm’s growth and evolving into a seasoned product liability defense attorney.”

Mr. Colburn received his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University, cum laude, in May 2016. He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, at Ursinus College where he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (a national political science honor society) and was a three-year letter winner in baseball.

Before joining Dickie McCamey, Ms. Montgomery worked for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General and attended law school in the evening. Also, while in law school, Ms. Montgomery served as a law clerk for the Honorable Christine Donohue of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Montgomery obtained her Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law in June 2016, where she earned the Order of the Barrister and served as Associate Editor of the Duquesne Law Review. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh while working as a legal secretary and paralegal for a small regional law firm.
